FAQs
• When do we pay you?
Wedding:
A non-refundable booking fee (£250) is required on the day of booking the date. This fee is included in the total package cost. The remaining balance can be paid in monthly installments or in full at any point before your wedding.
Family/Lifestyle:
A non-refundable booking fee (£50) is required on the day of booking the date. The rest of the balance must be paid on the day of the photoshoot.
• How many photos do we get?
Wedding:
The total number of pictures depends on two factors: the amount of time booked with me and the size of the wedding. With full-time coverage, you can expect to receive approximately 300 edited photographs. Please note that I do not provide RAW material, as part of my job is to carefully select the best images for a beautiful album, eliminating repetitive shots.
Family/Lifestyle:
You will receive a total of 15 edited pictures. Unedited files are not available, as part of my job is to make the best possible selection.
• Who owns the copyrights?
Copyrights remain with me, the photographer, as this is an industry standard. However, I grant you a printing license that allows you to print the pictures in unlimited amounts and share them on social media. I reserve the right to share your pictures for marketing purposes, but if you prefer to keep certain images private, we can work together to select the ones you're comfortable with me publishing.
• How do you approach the wedding?
I strive to be unobtrusive and capture genuine emotions. Most of the pictures will be in color, but you can also expect some artistic black and white shots. Prior to the wedding, we will discuss any "must-have" posed pictures, and you can decide on the best time to capture them, typically after the ceremony.
• When will I get my pictures?
Wedding:
A beautifully made and boxed USB with a selection of the best pictures will be ready for postage within 30 days. For the Gold and Platinum packages, which include an outdoor photoshoot on a different day, the USB will be ready within 30 days from that photoshoot.
Family/Lifestyle:
You will receive 15 edited, high-resolution pictures via email within 10 days from the photoshoot.
• Is traveling cost included?
I cover the Cardiff area and surrounding regions within a 15-mile radius. However, I am open to traveling to other destinations if reasonable expenses are covered.
• What if I want to have an option tailored to my needs?
I offer three different wedding packages based on popular options couples prefer. If none of the packages suit your requirements, please contact me, and we can work together to create a customized package that meets your expectations.
• Do you always shoot weddings alone?
No! Occasionally, I work with my husband, who is also a skilled photographer. We share the same style, and he is a valuable part of my team. Having a backup plan is crucial to ensure your wedding day is captured flawlessly.
• Can you shoot the Groom getting ready as well as the Bride?
As mentioned earlier, I occasionally work with my husband. If he is present on your wedding day, we can capture both the Groom and the Bride getting ready.
• Why should we choose you?
If you appreciate the motto "Less posing, more emotions" and resonate with my style, you will undoubtedly be pleased with the service I provide. I understand that weddings are filled with love and happiness, but also require careful planning and preparation. Choosing the right photographer can make your day much more relaxed and enjoyable.
• Do we have to meet in person?
No, we don't have to meet in person prior to the wedding. However, if you'd like to get a sense of my working style, you can book an engagement photoshoot (included in the Platinum package or available separately). This will give us an opportunity to spend time together, get to know each other better, and make you feel more comfortable in front of the camera. Engagement photoshoots and outdoor wedding pictures are weather-dependent and can be rescheduled without any risk of losing money. All packages include a free online consultation.
• Can other people take pictures during the wedding?
It's entirely up to you, but I recommend advising your guests to fully enjoy the moments with you instead of taking random shots with their phones. An unprofessional photographer might inadvertently get in the way and limit my ability to capture the best possible pictures.
• What’s FULL DAY COVERAGE?
